Chifa is a go
If you get the tasting menu at Chifa they will do a gluten free version of every dish, I recommend it. Also, their table rolls are made of yucca and naturally gluten free.

Tips:
*if you are eating out and get dips like hummus, ask for cut up cumbers or veggies to dip or bring own crackers.
*Sauces can be tricky and certain soups. Soy based sauces have wheat in them because soy sauce has wheat in it. I buy gf soy sauce at whole foods.
*Also, soup can be tricky in that a lot of creamy based soups are thickened with rue or flour. I just ask if im unsure.
*Also, fried food get me sick unless they fried in a separate fryer from wheat foods like onion rings. This is because there is cross contamination. Certain places have sep fryers like parc in rittenhouse, you have to ask.
*Certain chips arent gf bc they have wheat products and certain candies.
*Usually stuff says gf on it these days or will have a little g* symbol on it almost like a kosher symbol.
*Toast gluten free bread or put in oven or microwave (otherwise will crumble).
*Buy frozen bagels at whole foods but make sure they r he precut ones because it’s a pain in the ass to cut them. They don’t taste great but I think of it like a vehicle… Especially for break the fast. Also, gluten free matzah tastes better than regular matzah. Everyones always begging me for it during sedars.
*Whole foods is gluten free heaven.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Gf bagel laws
1. Make sure u get the frozen ones that are precut. Very annoying to cut them otherwise.
2. Toast em up, only defrost one at a time bc go bad quickly.
3. Use a separate toaster if possible to avoid cross contamination.
Marathon on the square is really stepping up their gluten friendliness with their allergy conscious menu. They placed symbols at the end of each dish. V is for vegan g is for gluten free! I had the chili and ordered tofu on top. Great dish.

Christine is the owner of an Italian pastry store in Northfield, New Jersey. She was diagnosed with her own gluten-allergy three years ago and has made it her mission to supply the gluten-free with tasty baked goods. They bake their food fresh in store on Tuesdays and then freeze them to prevent cross contamination and preserve freshness. She suggests warming up the breads prior to eating them in the oven or the microwave to prevent crumbling. I tried the chocolate chip biscotti and they biscotti and they were delicious. Pick up some hamburger buns and hot dog buns for the holiday weekend! :)
